Ingredients:

  • Flax Seeds: promotes hair growth and overall health of hair by balancing pH levels; helps prevent breakage by improving elasticity and its omega-3 fatty acids work to improve scalp health.
  • Alkaline Water: contains a higher pH level than regular drinking water, which can protect the immune system and help prevent chronic diseases. When added to our hair product, it complements your body's own pH levels and promotes a healthy scalp which helps in having strong and healthier hair.

  • Olive Oil: is packed with antioxidants which not only helps the skin on your scalp, but can help reduce some of the damage our styling habits may have done. It improves blood circulation and stimulates the follicles, which will produce longer, thicker strands. Also fights off fungi, bacteria, dandruff and head lice. It conditions and coats the hair, making it shinier and softer.

  • Black Seed Oil: a powerful and potent oil native to southwest Asia, known for its abilities to promote a healthy scalp with its anti-fungal, antibacterial, anti-viral properties. It is known to help eczema and psoriasis, reduce hair loss by 76%, and reduce dandruff. 
  • Aloe Vera Oil: is key in providing a chemical makeup that is similar to keratin, rejuvenating the hair and giving it more elasticity. It repairs dead skin cells on the scalp, reduces dandruff and conditions the hair. It is also the correct pH balance for medium to high porosity hair. The amino acids in Aloe Vera promotes strength, adds shine, and reduces frizz. It also works well as a detangler.
  • PVP Carbomer 940: holding agent in hair gel. It creates a film that layers the surface of hair hair, forming a clear film that is completely water soluble.
  • Fragrance From Essential Oils: Our unique formula of essential oils promotes growth, restores, adds shine, volume, fights dandruff and increases overall manageability, look and feel of the hair. 
  • Gluconolactone: acts as a natural preservative and helps to emulsify products. 
  • Sodium Benzoate: excellent alternative to parabens as a preservative. It helps keep our products fresh and its antifungal agents prevent bacteria and fungus build-up.

    No good

    This stuff left the edges white or just did not work AT ALL!! I tried to like it the first one I purchased I just stopped using. I came back a year later and seen someone talking about how magnificent it was, tried again no it was still the same. Maybe it is for certain hair idk, yet the white crusty look shouldn’t matter. However I do like shampoos and conditioners

    New Formula

    I bought this edge control before and loved it. It was not thick but it definitely held up. This new formula is thicker and leaves residue. It also does not hold like the previous one. I won't be using it again so I just wasted my money. I wish they would go back to the previous version.

    Inconsistent

    I have a love-hate relationship with this product. When it was first released years ago, it was amazing. No pilling, no white flakes, no white streaks, nice texture and amazing hold. It quickly became my go-to gel. I usually buy two at a time and each generally lasts a couple months. Fast forward to recent times. I’m not sure if the formulation has changed, but instead of a clear color, it’s now less transparent, it pills horribly (even on top of products from the same brand), it dries with white streaks, and the consistency is awful. It feels like I’m putting a bleach based product in my hair, and leaves my hair and fingers feeling squeaky afterward. If the formulation has changed, I’m truly disappointed. I loved this gel, and it has been difficult to find a gel that is natural and has great hold and consistency, and makes my hair look like the previous version of this gel used to make my hair look. Also, customer service used to be amazing. Now I can‘t even get someone to respond to my concerns about this product via email.

    I love it but…

    I love this hair gel. The hold lasts for days without retouching my hair. My only concern is the ingredients on the gel I received don’t match the ingredients listed on the website. I watched the owner’s yt video about ingredients and there was something I couldn’t pronounce. I googled the ingredient and it wasn’t natural. I just hope this company doesn’t begin to do what others do and claim it’s something it’s not because this hair care band is very unique and I never want to stop using it. I’m hoping this was just some kind of mistake or maybe it was once and ingredient being used and now you no longer include it in the gel? Or maybe google gave me the wrong definition?
